Bespoke Tailor and model maker trained at the "Santa Chiara" Salesian Institute in Palermo; he moved to Milan, to perfect his art and worked for important tailors, including Sartoria Francesco Orlandi, which he took over in 1972 and renamed to "Sartoria Zumbino" he specialized in haute couture coats and from 1985 opened another atelier in Melzo (MI).
The technique he acquired and perfected led him to receive numerous awards on the national and international scene;
formerly a member of the National Tailoring Academy, he has chosen to transfer his knowledge and the secrets of bespoke tailoring to new generations, and devote himself to train young tailors.
He also taught for many years at Afol Moda in Milan and at the SIAM 1838 (Società d’Incoraggiamento d’Arti e Mestieri), Milan.
He is the author of two books on the art of bespoke tailoring: “Vestire Su Misura. Conformazione Irregolare” on Irregular conformations, LSWR publisher, Milan and “Trattato di confezione moderna. Moda maschile.” on the steps to make a perfect suit for men, LSWR publisher, Milan.
